Laser surgery is one other option to be considered. It is especially used to remove flat nevi that may be brown or dark colored. This works by breaking down the melanin found on the nevi and sending it for absorption by the skin. It will take about three visits to the doctor and is quite costly.

Liquid nitrogen may also be used. Here the doctor puts the liquid in a special gun used for dispensing the nitrogen. He will hold down onto the affected area with it so that the mole is exposed to the nitrogen. You may feel a sting then and in the days to come. Avoid any contact with that place. After a few days the mole will fall off. Pick it up and dispose it carefully.

Some people have successfully used duct tape for this procedure. A piece of duct tape is cut and used to cover the mole. You should then just leave it in place for about four to five days. You could add more tape on top of that one to sort of make it suffocate. After those days are over, remove the tape. The mole should be sticking on it.

You may also use clean unscented dental floss. Tie it tightly several times around the nevi. This will cut off any blood supply to it. It may at first feel uncomfortable but with time you will get used to it. It will only take a few days before it falls off on its own.

You may also prefer to buy pharmaceutical products. These products are in easy to carry containers. Unlike natural mole removal products, you can use them anywhere and at anytime. All you need to do is read the instructions carefully. If used wrongly, they may end up affecting your skin or causing some other dire consequences.
